1. Agreement to these Terms

Welcome to Krown. These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and KROWN ("Krown", "we", "us"). By creating an account, downloading the Krown app, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Krown.

2. What Krown is

Krown is a creator authority platform that:

• Computes an Authority Score for creators based on their public social network activity
• Provides analytics, rankings, and benchmarks across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X
• Surfaces insights about content performance, niche standing, and growth trajectory
• Offers community features including clubs and weekly challenges
• Enables creators to share their authority through public profiles and shareable cards

Krown is a tool for measurement and motivation. It is not a guarantee of business outcomes, follower growth, or financial success.

3. Eligibility

To use Krown, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Not be prohibited from using Krown under any applicable law
• Comply with the Terms of Service of each social network you connect to Krown

If you use Krown on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Your account

4.1 Creating an account

You create an account by providing accurate information and choosing a password (or using a supported single sign-on provider). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4.2 Connected social accounts

To use Krown's core features, you may connect one or more of your social network accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X). By connecting an account, you confirm that:

• You own or control that account
• You have authority to grant Krown access to its public data
• Your connection complies with the social network's own terms

You may disconnect any social account at any time through Krown's Settings. Disconnecting may reduce the accuracy of your Authority Score and remove related features.

4.3 Account verification

Krown may verify that you control the social accounts you claim, including through OAuth verification, story-based verification, or manual review. We may flag, restrict, or remove accounts that fail verification or that we suspect are fraudulent.

4.4 Account security

You must notify us immediately at contact@krown.me if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activity on your account until you notify us of any compromise.

5. The Krown service

5.1 What we provide

We provide Krown "as is" and use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available, accurate, and useful. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific accuracy of scores, rankings, or insights at any moment
• That your score or rank will improve, regardless of your usage
• That any specific feature will remain available indefinitely

5.2 The Authority Score

The Authority Score is a measurement model that ranks creators based on their public social network activity. It uses centile rankings, rolling windows, and proprietary modifiers. The Score:

• Is a relative measurement, not an absolute judgment of quality
• Updates daily based on a 24-hour-complete data window
• May change as we refine the underlying methodology
• Should not be relied on for legal, financial, employment, or business decisions

We may update the scoring methodology to improve accuracy or fairness. Material changes will be communicated through the app.

5.3 Service changes

We may modify, add, remove, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes affecting paid subscribers.

6. Subscriptions and payments

6.1 Free and paid plans

Krown offers a free tier and one or more paid subscription plans. Paid plans unlock additional features as described on krown.app/pricing or in the app.

6.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as you select. Pricing is shown at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6.3 Free trials

We may offer free trials. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel beforehand. You can cancel anytime during the trial.

6.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account Settings (web) or your platform's subscription manager (iOS App Store / Google Play Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.

6.5 Refunds

Except where required by law:

• Monthly subscriptions are not refundable
• Annual subscriptions may be eligible for prorated refunds within 14 days of purchase
• App store purchases follow the refund policy of the respective platform (Apple, Google)

For EU consumers: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By using paid features during this period, you may waive this right; see your purchase confirmation for details.

6.6 Taxes

Prices may exclude VAT or other applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.

6.7 Price changes

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply to the next renewal period, not your current term.

7. Your content and data

7.1 Your public social content

Krown analyzes content you have published publicly on your connected social networks. We do not claim ownership of your posts. The intellectual property rights in your social content remain with you (or the relevant rights holder).

7.2 Content you create within Krown

You may create content within Krown, including:

• Your Krown public profile customization
• Comments or messages in clubs and challenges
• Profile content (display name, bio, profile picture if uploaded)

You grant Krown a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and share this content as part of operating the Krown service.

7.3 Shareable cards

Krown generates shareable cards based on your activity (weekly recaps, rank climbs, top posts, etc.). You may freely use these cards on social networks. Krown branding on these cards must not be removed or altered.

7.4 Public profiles

You may choose to make your Krown profile public at krown.app/yourname. When public, the information you display becomes accessible to anyone with the URL and may be indexed by search engines. You can make your profile private at any time, though previously cached versions may persist temporarily.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Krown for any unlawful purpose
• Connect social accounts you do not own or control
• Manipulate, game, or attempt to artificially inflate your Authority Score through fraudulent means including bot followers, engagement pods, view manipulation, or fake accounts
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract Krown's proprietary scoring methodology or rankings beyond what is shown in the product
• Access Krown through automated means (bots, scripts) without our written permission
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Krown data or features without our written permission
• Harass, abuse, or harm other Krown users through clubs, challenges, or public profiles
• Upload or share illegal content, hate speech, violence, sexual content involving minors, or any content that violates the rights of others
• Interfere with the security or proper operation of Krown
• Use Krown to violate the Terms of Service of any connected social network
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

8.1 Anti-gaming detection

Krown's Authenticity component detects engagement patterns suggestive of gaming (bots, pods, bought followers, coordinated activity). Accounts identified as gaming may face:

• Reduced Authenticity multipliers
• Suspension from leaderboards and clubs
• Removal of badges or rankings
• Account termination in serious or repeated cases

8.2 Reporting violations

If you believe a user is violating these Terms, report the issue to contact@krown.me.

9. Intellectual property

9.1 Krown's intellectual property

Krown and its content (the app, website, scoring methodology, Authority Score, rankings, badges, design, logos, brand) are owned by MOOJITO SAS or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Krown for personal or business use, in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of Krown's proprietary content
• Use Krown trademarks or branding without written permission, except as allowed for shareable cards
• Reverse engineer the Krown service

9.2 Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Krown, we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

9.3 Copyright infringement

If you believe content on Krown infringes your copyright, send a notice to contact@krown.me including the information required by the DMCA (US) or equivalent local law. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

10. Third-party services and links

Krown integrates with third-party social networks and may link to external websites. These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, practices, or data handling.

Your relationship with any third-party social network is governed by that network's own Terms of Service. We do not control whether a network grants or revokes API access, changes its policies, or restricts what data we can analyze.

11. Disclaimers and limitations of liability

11.1 "As is" disclaimer

KROWN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• Krown will meet your specific requirements
• Krown will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The Authority Score or any insight is a reliable predictor of business outcomes
• Defects will be corrected

11.2 Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOOJITO SAS, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from your reliance on Krown's Authority Score, rankings, or insights

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim related to Krown will not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• €100

11.3 Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. EU consumers retain all statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the KROWN team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights (including social networks' terms)
• Your misuse of Krown
• Your connected social content that infringes the rights of others

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by you

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Deletion is processed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements (see Privacy Policy).

13.2 Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraud, gaming, or harm to other users
• Required by law or court order
• Your account is inactive for more than 24 months
• We discontinue the Krown service

We will give reasonable notice where possible. In cases of serious violation, suspension may be immediate.

13.3 Effect of termination

On termination:

• Your access to Krown ends
• We delete your personal data per our Privacy Policy
• Your public profile is taken offline
• Any unused subscription period is forfeited, unless required to refund under applicable law
• Provisions that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, liability, dispute resolution) remain in effect

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

• We will notify you by email and through an in-app notice at least 30 days in advance
• The "Last updated" date will be revised
• Your continued use of Krown after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance
• If you do not agree to material changes, you may terminate your account before they take effect

Non-material changes (clarifications, formatting, contact updates) may be made without notice.

15. Governing law and disputes

15.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

15.2 Dispute resolution

Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at contact@krown.me to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably. We will respond within 30 days.

15.3 Mediation (EU consumers)

EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. You may also use a certified mediator under French law (médiateur de la consommation).

15.4 Jurisdiction

Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

16. General provisions

16.1 Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific terms that apply to particular features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Krown.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

16.3 No waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights to an affiliate or successor in a merger or acquisition.

16.5 Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, war, government action, internet outages, etc.).

16.6 Notices

We may send notices to you by email, through the app, or by posting on krown.app. You should send notices to us at contact@krown.me.

By using Krown, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and the Krown Privacy Policy.
